MIKE M.
Mike is a real estate investor and agency owner focused on the central Texas market. In addition to a long career as a leader in the enterprise and startup software industry, Mike has had the opportunity to train and work with some of the best real estate professionals in central Texas. He’s been investing since 2003 and knows what it’s like to be a property owner facing difficult circumstances. During the housing meltdown in 2008, Mike lost his job, and due to rapidly falling home values and an upside-down rental environment (along with some toxic drywall at a condo he owned thrown in for good measure), Mike wound up having to short sale 3 of his investment properties. It was there that, in a situation where he could have easily resulted in several foreclosures, Mike realized how important it is to have a rock-solid real estate professional on your side. His business philosophy is grounded in customer-first and uncompromising integrity, strong team collaboration, playing to people’s strengths, and providing rock-solid customer service and solutions for his clients.

I started investing in Texas properties in 2001 and I’m a lead strategist for creative homeowner solutions for our team. Having nearly gone through personal foreclosure due to massive unpaid medical bills for two of my sons in the late 1990’s, I know firsthand that homeowners in distress are not educated on what non-traditional options may exist to sell their home quickly. Providing help to homeowners in need has become my passion. Whether the issue is a pending foreclosure, a rental home with deferred maintenance, a couple looking to downsize from a home in need of significant updating, inheriting an unwanted home, whatever the situation there are alternative strategies that may be a much better fit than the standard “realtor MLS listing and cross your fingers” approach.
